Was ist die Molmasse, abgekürzt 'M'?
Textantwort: - Die Molmasse gibt an, wie viel Gramm einer Substanz einem Mol entspricht.
- Bei Kohlenstoff steht auf dem PSE z.B. 12.0107.
Diese Zahl bedeutet, dass ein Mol Kohlenstoff-Atome (=6.022·1023 C-Atome) insgesamt 12.0107 g (oder gerundet 12.0 g) wiegen (m = 12 g). - Gleiche Aussage, aber 'in kurz': M(C) = 12 g/mol.
- Beachte: wie in der Physik üblich wird auch in der Chemie die Masse _apo_ m _apo_ umschrieben.
