Wie viele 14C Atome enthält 1 g Kohlenstoff, der 5730 Jahre alt ist. Hinweis: eine aktuelle ('von heute') Probe habe ein Verhältnis von 14C/12C von 1.2·10-12.
Hinweis: Die (benötigte) Molmasse von 12C beträgt 12.00000000000 g/mol.
Textantwort: 1 g 12C enthält wie viele Atome: n=m/M= 1/12 mol resp. 5.018·1022 12C-Atome
Nach 5730 Jahren ist eine HWZ vorbei. Somit ist das Verhältnis nur noch halb so gross wie früher.
Es gilt: 14C/12C = x = ½ · 1.2·10-12
14C = ½ · 1.2·10-12 · 12C = ½ · 1.2·10-12 · 5.018·1022 = 3.0·1010
