Wie alt ist eine Probe, die eine 8-mal tiefere 14C-Konzentration enthält als ein noch lebender Organismus (HWZ(14C)= 5730 Jahre)
Lösung: Die Konzentration wurde 3-mal halbiert (und hat somit eine achtmal tiefere Konz.), d.h. die Probe ist 3·5730 = 17190 Jahre alt.
