Gegeben sei eine Lösung A mit pH = 7 sowie eine Lösung B mit pH = 8. Beurteile (richtig – falsch) folgende Aussagen:
- Die H3O+-Konzentration von A ist zehnmal so gross wie die der Lösung B
- Die H3O+-Konzentration von A ist gleich der OH– Konzentration von A
- Die H3O+-Konzentration von B ist zehnmal kleiner als die c(OH–) der Lösung B
Textantwort: - korrekt
pH=7 → c(H3O+) = 10-7 mol/l;
pH = 8 , c(H3O+) = 10-8 mol/l - korrekt
Spezialfalls bei pH=7, c(H3O+) = c(OH–) - falsch.
pH=8 → c(H3O+) = 10-8 mol/l;
pOH = 14-pH = 6 → c(OH–) = 10-6 mol/l also ist c(H3O+) 100· mal kleiner als c(OH–)
